One of the many releases that Frank Kozik had at the San Diego Comic Con of 2011. This toy, a special edition, features a new giant 10″ Labbit labelled the “King of Rock” which pays a little homage to some good old fashioned metal. Available soon at www.NevermindGallery.com
Celebrating twenty-five years of the South by Southwest annual music, film, and interactive conference and festive held in Austin, artist Frank Kozik’s unique print features original characters on an 18″ x 24″ eight color silkscreen. The print is signed and numbered and will be available at www.NevermindGallery.com
It’s a limited edition so be sure to grab one before they’re gone!
The Orange Edition of Che Guevara featured as a skull was released at Kozik’s booth at the San Diego Comic Con in 2008. Sculpt by Bring Berliner and signed by Frank Kozik. The text inscribed on the base of the bust reads: “In life the proud commander and now in death he is nothing, cast low.” The bust is 16″ tall, $225, and a limited edition of 100.
Another of the Smorkin Labbit’s from artist Frank Kozik’s collection was released at the Kozik booth at SDCC in 2010. This 10″ tall limited edition of 135 shows its true Cuban colors and even traded the cigarette for a traditional Cuban cigar. Titled “El Cubano Labbit” and priced at $125, this one will definitely be a unique addition to one’s collection.
Designed with Amanda Visell and the first Labbit designed by an artist other than the creator, Frank Kozik’s 2009 release of the “Wood Labbit” at the San Diego Comic Con is a unique new edition to the series. Five inches tall and signed by both Visell and Kozik, this woodsy little Labbit roams the forest with an axe in place of his missing ear.
